Passionate about travelling by bike, the France Bike Trips team creates our tours from scratch. Hand-crafted itineraries that skillfully combine beauty and variety of landscapes, relaxing breaks, multiple encounters and heritage or cultural treasures. Itineraries tailored to your needs
Even if you're not a regular cyclist, you can enjoy the magic of this wonderful means of locomotion to travel at your own pace, along quiet country lanes and cycle tracks that take you through beautiful landscapes and historical villages. For this, the choice of the region and the itinerary are essential, and that's where we come in! As passionate enthusiasts and experienced riders, we design itineraries that will ensure you get the most from your cycling trip: beautiful and varied landscapes, gentle slopes, local heritage, markets and curiosities, pleasant and ideally placed accommodation, daily mileage adapted to your level and your desires... We favour itinerant tours, which allow you to cross or tour a region in its entirety.
Our trips are "hand-made"... We create our itineraries with one aim in mind: to get close to perfection. This starts with not missing out on the beautiful things!
Ride light
Most of the trips we offer are itinerant and we know how important it is to ride light. On all our road bike tours in France and abroad, we move your luggage from one accommodation to another by vehicle.. Every evening, on your arrival, you will find your bag at your accommodation.
Guided trips
Travelling with a guide brings many undeniable advantages: smoothness of the itinerary (you don't have to read the map!), assistance for mechanical problems and hazards, information on the region crossed.
Our team of backroad cycling guides will have the pleasure of sharing their passion, know-how and experience of cycling and travelling with you, while experiencing moments full of joy and good humour.
Ride in small groups! To ensure safety and conviviality, we limit the size of our groups to 12 people (except for private groups)!
Self-guided trips
Most of our itinerant trips and all our centre-based tours are available in a self-guided version. You can start on the date of your choice in groups from 2 people. We take care of booking your accommodation, transporting your luggage and providing you with the Vélorizons smartphone navigation app and a route book.
It includes: a description of the itinerary, printable maps with the highlighted route, route profiles, practical information (places to visit, shops, restaurants, swimming spots, etc.) and GPS tracks.

The magic of cycling is that it adapts to all desires and the range of possibilities is so large that it is difficult to cover all of them... For all those who do not have a precise idea of their cycling trip, we have imagined fun and attractive themes to help you with your choice...
If for you cycling holidays rhyme with wide open spaces, if you are a fan of the coasts and sea or if you never consider a cycling trip without a little history & gastronomy, then you will find what you are looking for in our Inspirations! For a first experience, the dedicated cycle paths are waiting for you!
E-bike trips
Electric bikes offer pedaling assistance and greatly reduce the effort needed to cover a given distance compared to a classic bicycle. They can help you complete trips with more elevation gain or longer stages and can reduce fitness differences among your group’s members. All our tours can be done by e-bike. Feel free to choose according to your physical condition and your wishes.
Some tours are labelled "Exclusive e-bike" because they take place in regions with rough terrain and only electric assistance allows them to be done in “backroad cycling” mode.

Family trips
Motivated by the enthousiasm of our own children for cycle touring, we have designed the trips in our "Family" range by focusing on what makes the eyes of our toddlers and less young one sparkle...
On these trips, we favour: adapted stage lengths to leave room for numerous and regular breaks, a rhythm that gives pride of place to the "sides" of cycling (swimming, stops in animal parks, visits to villages, etc.), an alternation of tarmac roads, cycle paths and tracks, and a solution for renting equipment for your children's trip. The dads and mums of the France Bike trips team regularly test our routes with their children to keep only the best...
We are very attentive to the quality of the services provided by our tour leaders and guides, accommodation, meals and transfers, as well as to the "intrinsic" quality of the tour: itinerary, points of interest and difficulty.
In the description of each of our tours, we give you the details of what is included and not included in our prices. No unpleasant surprises or advertising effects with a price that hides unforeseen expenses or a less rosy reality. Unlike many of our colleagues, we have chosen not to apply registration fees (which can artificially lower the price of a tour).
