Our Story & Crew

Born in Krakow, Poland, I began exploring nature and the mountains in the Tatras, enjoying beautiful hikes—sometimes on foot, sometimes equipped with an ice axe and crampons. My desire for open spaces only grew when I moved to France, leading me first to the unspoilt landscapes of Lozère. With a deep fascination for foreign languages, a career in adventure tourism felt like the perfect path. Now happily settled in Savoie and captivated by its mountains, I’m excited to share my passion for cycling, slow tourism, and simple, essential experiences with my family. And my “bike to-do list” keeps growing!

From the rolling hills of Sauerland to the majestic peaks of the Northern Alps, my journey has been one of adventure and discovery. Growing up on a farm in a quaint village surrounded by meadows, christmas tree plantations and Holstein cows, I developed a deep appreciation for nature. My childhood was filled with mountain biking on double tracks and playing football, which nurtured my love for outdoor activities. Fifteen years ago, I followed my heart to the mountains, where I began to explore the breathtaking trails and paths that once seemed like distant dreams.

As I watched the Tour de France from the comfort of my home, the legendary climbs of Savoie captured my imagination and fueled my passion for cycling. Today, the bike is not just my preferred mode of transport; it’s my ultimate escape—whether I’m tackling mountain bike singles, cruising along gravel tracks, or winding through scenic roads on weekends and vacations.

My cycling passion ignited at just 5 years old with a vibrant blue Peugeot bike, complete with a Smurf fender—marking the beginning of an epic cycling journey! From old mountain bikes to city cruisers and even mini folding bikes (Peugeot, of course!), every ride was an adventure that allowed me to unleash boundless energy. By 15, cycling became synonymous with freedom and independence.

Fast forward a few years and countless kilometers, and my focus shifted to savoring the journey: discovering charming villages, hidden gems, and breathtaking landscapes. And if there's a mountain involved? Even better!

I started my career as a mountain bike tour operator before transitioning into a mountain bike product manager role. Always on the hunt for new bike routes and scenic trails, I can’t wait to share my cycling discoveries—and my favorite coffee spots—with you!

Since childhood, I’ve been captivated by far-off places, languages, and foreign cultures, growing up in a bilingual family made it only natural for me to pursue a career in tourism. It was my desire for adventure and authenticity that led me to join Vélorizons, starting with an internship and then transitioning into a role as an operations officer specializing in backroad cycling.

Why backroad cycling, you ask? To be honest, I never considered myself a sporty person; my memories of physical education in school were less than inspiring. However, cycling found its way into my life, first as a means of transportation and soon blossoming into a daily joy—a breath of fresh air amidst my busy day. On my bike, I love to take my time, soak it all in, enjoy the freedom of movement, and savor the landscapes around me. In essence, I’m a true backroad cycling enthusiast!

A few years ago, I traded the Alpilles, with their fragrant thyme and rosemary, for the towering peaks of the Alps. But the alpine climate wasn’t enough for me, and my strong attraction to snow and cold led me even further north to the polar bases of Spitsbergen, where I undertook logistical missions. My passion for adventure and pushing my limits is reflected in my diverse sporting pursuits, including backcountry skiing, kayaking, and CrossFit.

Now that I’m back in the Alps and have joined Vélorizons, I’m excited to continue my role as a “logistics manager” while exploring the world of cycling through travel!

My love for travel comes from my parents! I grew up in Oise, right next to my dad's bike shop, before gradually venturing further away—perhaps in search of more elevation! A passionate hiker, what truly excites me is the journey itself, from planning the route to the surprises of trekking solo. When trains and bikes come together in a trip, it’s even better!

After a year of solo backpacking from Chile (my heart's country!) to Kazakhstan (with a special shoutout to Central Asia!), I chose to settle down with my family in Savoie. Biking daily has become second nature, and cycle touring is the best way to explore the area—whether on roads or trails!

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to share my cycling route discoveries with others. After spending countless hours poring over maps, I can still picture myself on my bike, beaming with joy after uncovering hidden natural gems, eager to return to these spots with friends.

After years devoted solely to mountain biking and the pursuit of legendary single tracks—culminating in the breathtaking Intégralpes, a stunning traverse of the Alps—I gradually expanded my horizons to bikepacking on roads and trails. I’ve also embraced leisurely family rides. Long-distance mountain biking in UL (Ultra Light Bivouac) style and packrafting have become two of my latest passions!

For me, cycling is the most natural way to navigate my daily life and my vacations—always spent on two wheels! Whether it’s travel bikes or bikepacking, my love for this mode of travel was instantaneous, and now I can’t imagine life without it!

At Vélorizons, I’m part of the communications team alongside Pascal. Specializing in video editing, I also handle graphic design, web content, and events. This keeps me immersed in the vibrant world of bicycle travel, which continuously inspires me in my free time!

A lover of the open road, cycling with panniers allows me to strip away the unnecessary and return to what truly matters. I relish the joys of outdoor life, marveling at the changing landscapes with every turn of the pedals. The thrill of the distance traveled fills me with wonder, and I savor the breathtaking views that await after the climb!

Traveling by bike also creates the perfect opportunity for meaningful encounters—those unforgettable moments that leave a lasting emotional impact. It’s all about exploration, feeling the wind in my hair, and embracing that sense of freedom! Isn’t biking the best way to truly experience the world and appreciate every moment?

Returning home is a chance to rediscover comfort and cherish it, leaving me with just one desire: to set off again!

I thrive in the elements—air, earth, and water—immersed in activities that fuel my passion for adventure. Whether it's paragliding, ski mountaineering, rock climbing, mountain biking, bivouac trekking, or kayaking, I seek every opportunity to reconnect with nature and escape the hustle of civilization. I find joy in observing flora and fauna, delving into the geology that shapes our landscapes, and fostering connections with fellow adventurers who share similar aspirations.

For me, the mountains are a canvas for exchange and camaraderie, where experiences are shared and memories are forged. Biodiversity weaves through my life as much as it does in nature; I balance my work as an accountant for Vélorizons with my passion as a mountain guide and co-guardian of a refuge.
