In Crete, the sea and the mountains vie for the limelight. Never far apart, they sublimate each other and give this large island a palette of landscapes that has few equivalents in Europe. The seemingly sleepy villages reveal the gentleness of a pastoral life steeped in centuries-old traditions. As we discover the wildest part of Eastern Crete, we'll navigate our way through this wealth of nature and heritage on a fantastic network of technically easy trails. Thanks to our electrically-assisted mountain bikes, the uphill sections are easily absorbed and lead to splendid lookouts from which the views of the north, south and east coasts of the island are breathtaking.
