Legend has it that the Ardèche department is the one in France with the highest proportion of winding roads, the department where finding more than 300 m of straight road is a real challenge! Add to this its very low population density, its pivotal position between north and south, and the resulting variety of landscapes, and it's easy to see why the Ardèche has become such a renowned cycling destination. For almost 25 years now, thousands of cyclists have been setting off every year for the legendary Ardéchoise, which has become the biggest cycling event in France. This tour takes you on a selection of the Ardéchoise's most beautiful routes: lost, winding, playful, linking charming villages, these little pearls allow you to discover all that the Ardèche has to offer: a huge diversity of atmospheres. The green Ardèche to the north, flanked by large hills punctuated by volcanic peaks such as Mont Gerbier de Jonc, the high plateaus of the Cévennes, and the sun-drenched southern Ardèche...
