This applies to all air, car, ferry and train passengers. Arrivals from the UK who are resident in France may need to show proof of residence. Those who are not French residents or EU nationals will need to complete an International Travel Certificate to confirm their essential reason for travel. Arrivals from the UK will need to complete a ‘sworn statement’ (déclaration sur l’honneur) form self-certifying they are not suffering from symptoms associated with coronavirus and have not been in contact with confirmed cases in the preceding fortnight. This can be found on the French government’s website. (source UK Government)
For all other countries, you can only enter France (including French overseas territories) if you have pressing grounds for travel. You must comply with health check measures to enter France (PCR test and sworn declaration). You will be subject to a compulsory 10-day quarantine.
Masks are compulsory throughout France in public spaces and transport, taxis and all other transport companies (from 11 years of age).

The development of the covid-19 epidemic in France is constantly monitored by the authorities using the map material at this link, which classifies the French départements in red and green on the basis of three indicators (activity of the virus, occupancy rate of intensive care beds and testing capacity).
